John M. Lundsten

Mr. Lundsten received both his undergraduate and Master's degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana / Champaign, majoring in Biology and Educational Psychology.

As an officer of such firms as Tishman Realty, Ogden Development, Koll Management Services and Karsten Institutional Realty Advisors, Mr. Lundsten has been involved with large-scale, commercial real estate and hospitality projects from the beginning of his career in the mid-1960's, focusing exclusively on asset management and construction projects for institutional investors, serving as project manager, investment officer, asset manager and managing principal. Mr. Lundsten provides extensive experience in investment strategies, portfolio analysis, asset management and disposition. Additionally, his expertise includes several years as Vice President and General Manager of a major contractor/developer in Wilmington, Delaware and hands-on workout management of large, complex real estate projects. Further, he served for six years as a founding director and committee chair of the Pension Real Estate Association ("PREA").

Mr. Lundsten's projects have included investments such as the Inter-Continental Hotel and office complex at Miami Center, the Hyatt Regency, Los Angeles, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and golf courses at Half Moon Bay, California, and casino/hotels in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada. Recently, his focus has been on real estate investment services to Taft-Hartley pension funds including current assignments of the firm involving significant portfolios managed as QPAM for UA Pension Funds in San Jose and Burlingame, California and SEIU Local 32 BJ North pension fund in New York.

Finally, for the past three years, he has served (as part of the independent named fiduciary group) as fiduciary consultant to the Plumbers and Pipefitters National Fund, relating to its investment in the Diplomat Hotel, golf course, and resort development, which recently opened in Florida, following a lengthy development and construction period.
